Polish apple pie - Szarlotka

Dear friends,
we want to present our delicious Polish apple pie!

INGREDIENTS:

DOUGH:

3 cups flour
5 egg yolk
3/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 margarine
1,5 kg apples
cinnamon

MERINGUE:
5 egg glair
2 teaspoons vanilla blancmange
1/2 cup oil
1 cup sugar

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350 F (180 C).
2. Combine flour, egg yolk, sugar, baking powder, and margarine and then knead the cake.
3. Grease with butter the baking pan and then put the dough into the baking pan.
4. Bake the dough for about 30 minutes.
5. Peel the apples and then cut them into pieces. Grate the apples and then add the cinnamon.
5. Mix the egg glair by the mixer. Then mix a cream with vanilla blancmange, oil and sugar.
6. Pull out the dough from the oven. Put the apples and meringue on the dough.
7. Bake the cake for about 45 minutes.
