What is kama? (Pilt)
Kama is traditional Estonian finely milled flour mixture. The kama powder is a mixture of roasted barley, rye, oat and pea flour. The oat flour may be completely replaced by wheat flour, or kibbled black beans may be added to the mixture.
Rye kama cookies recipe:
- 50 grams butter
- 3 tablespoon powdered sugar
- little bit salt
- 1 yolk
- 50 grams rye kama
- 2 teaspoon cocoa powder
- 50 grams dried cranberries
- 50 grams kama chocolate
- 125 grams curd
- 1 glass kefir
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon melted butter
- 240 milliliter barley flour
- 120 milliliter wholemeal flour
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
