Carrot cake - made in Poland :)

Ladies and gentlemen,
we present you our delicious carrot cake

Ingredients:
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 cupps vegetable oil
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons gingerbread seasoning
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 3 cups grated peeled carrots
  • 2 cups raisins




Recipe


Mix all the loose ingredients in one bowl (3 cups flour, 2 cups sugar, 3 teaspoons baking soda, 2 teaspoons gingerbread seasoning, 3 teaspoons baking powder). Take another bowl and stir there 2 cups oil and 8 eggs. Add loose ingredients and grated carrots. Mix it. Add raisins and walnuts. Stir again. In the meantime heat the oven to 175C. Bake the cake for 40 minutes. When the cake goes cold you may sprinkle it with caster sugar.

When our cake was ready we prepared teatime and invited our headmistress. The cake was so tasty that everyone ate a second helping.
